The Q Group is offering 2 options for the Tuesday Excursions. We have listed each excursion's description below to help you in your choice.
Palm Beach Bike Tour Option
Join us on a journey into the then and now of the iconic Palm Beach Island with a guided 2-hour bicycle tour that travels along the famed Lake Trail as well as the Atlantic Ocean -- both of which feature water views, tree canopies, and the mega-mansions the Island is famous for. Your ride will be filled with tales and information provided by a friendly local insider.
Some of the highlights included on this tour are: The two oldest homes on Palm Beach Island, The Seagull Cottage and The Duck's Nest Bradley Park, The Society of the Four Arts Museum & Gardens, The Biltmore, Bethesda by The Sea, Palm Beach Country Club, The location of the old Phipps Estate, & one of the islands largest estates El Mirasol. Architecture by Addison Mizner, & John Volk, The Old Paramount Movie House, St. Edwards (where the Kennedys went to church). The Breakers Hotel and of course the Flagler Museum also known as Whitehall.
Approximate Cost is $165 per person. Bicycles will be brought to the hotel.
If you would like to participate in this trip, please register on this form.
There will be no refunds given.
Peanut Island Paddleboard Adventure Option
This tropical island has been a favorite spot for locals for years, and whether it's on a weekday or the ever-busy weekend, there is always something fun going on here.
Located at the mouth of the Lake Worth Inlet, this 80-acre man-made island attracts explorers of every type. The crystal clear water that surrounds the island invites snorkelers and swimmers, while the brick pathways that circle the island attract nature seekers and those looking for a little exercise.
Our Kayak Tour of Peanut Island begins with an introduction to the area. After being issued a jacket and paddle, your guides will conduct "Paddling101" a short lesson on ergonomic paddling. While we paddle along the shoreline you'll be up and close to the breathtaking mansions of Palm Beach.
Then it's off to the Northeast side of the island where we'll set foot on the island's soft sand. Guests will then have time to explore the island or go for a swim.
Approximate Cost is $149 plus transportation, per person.
Details to follow as the date nears.
